Currently the Executive Director of the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association. On staff as a field instructor with the University of Illinois Fire Service Institute and at Lewis University as an adjunct instructor.
Jim is an instructor for the VCOS-Beyond Hoses & Helmets along with Leading the Transition. Jim has presented at numerous conferences across the United States to include FRI, VCOS, FDIC FH Expo and several state conferences. Jim is past President of the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association and Chief Emeritus of the IFCA.
Jim is married 49 years to Bobbi, they have three children, four grandchildren & 2 great-grand children. Jim enjoys time with family, visitng Margretville, lecturing and just relaxing.
