F.I.E.R.O. (Fire Industry Education Resource Organization) is a 31-year old 501 (c) (3) organization that provides educational events typically not found anywhere else. Its Fire Station Design and Fire PPE Symposium are internationally acclaimed for the subject matter expertise of the speakers and the networking of emergency response personnel. A common reaction to those who attend our well-organized events is "I would have never thought of that". For example, the world of PPE and of Fire Station Design is changing rapidly. Much of this change is due to contamination control. It is believed that over 95% of fire stations in the U.S. are obsolete in their design.
