Developing and encouraging the engagement between community stakeholders and the justice system is key in addressing the rise of methamphetamines across the United States. In this session, you will hear from three different perspectives on how their communities are approaching and building this relationship. Presenters from Tennessee and Kentucky will discuss processes beginning at pre-arrest through the different stages of criminal justice involvement and how instilling a treatment centric mindset is significant in the reduction of psycho-stimulant use, crime, and jail overcrowding.
