Public Health Analyst

Amanda Consigli is the public health analyst for the Overdose Response Strategy in Massachusetts, and she works for the CDC Foundation and in collaboration with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). Over the last two and a half years in her role, she has been working with public health and public safety in Massachusetts to build partnerships and develop overdose data sharing and response efforts to help communities reduce overdoses. She has served as a commission member on the Massachusetts Commission on Methamphetamine Use. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in epidemiology and global health from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she focused on prevention and risk reduction of HIV. She also has a certificate in public health laboratory sciences from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Amanda has had the opportunity to work globally in Kenya, Thailand and Australia.
