Tanya Fischer (she/her), BFA, MEd, MSLIS, is chair of the PA Library Association’s PA Forward® Literacies Team, a member of Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 1 Senate, and a member of the International Health Literacy Association (IHLA). Tanya is an infopreneur and an outside-the-box thinker with experience in public, academic, and medical libraries. Currently, Tanya is a medical writer for National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) where she spends her days writing about cancer - helping those with cancer understand their disease, prepare for testing and treatment, and engage in shared decision-making.
