In this session, we'll be identifying bacteria’s negative effect on the caries process, isolating specific treatment options for high-risk clients, and determining best caries risk assessment and management practices. We'll continue to connect the head back to the body and discuss how periodontitis doesn’t JUST affect the teeth and oral cavity.

Formulate a client-specific program to prevent dental decay and manage client-specific caries programs
Demonstrate strategies to test oral structures for specific pathogens using microscopic analysis
Implement strategies to reduce cariogenic bacteria and reduce WSLs
