Medical emergencies occurring in the dental office can be stressful and frightening, not only for the patient but also for the entire dental team. This course emphasizes the six tenets of preparedness recommended by the ADA. Emphasis will be placed on developing strategies to prevent, identify, and respond to the 11 medical events likely to occur during dental treatment.
