This course will provide a practical approach to the management of common medical emergencies that can arise in the dental office. You will learn how to prepare your practice with the appropriate equipment and drugs for such emergencies. During the hands-on component, you will have the chance to handle emergency equipment and supplies and learn how to use them in emergency situations. This review will be relevant and practical for your entire dental team. Pre-registration is required.

Recognize and diagnose medical emergencies in the dental office
Prepare office and a dental team to successfully manage medical emergencies in the dental setting
Provide treatment in an emergency setting, including a refresher on appropriate medications, etc
