Dental assistants often ask Shannon about becoming a dental assistant speaker, with questions such as Where do you start? What do you do? This lunch chat will go over the necessary steps to help you understand the process and what is necessary to begin your journey. Please come to lunch with two skill sets that you feel you have mastered and what you would like to teach. Then you and Shannon will put some steps in motion, share ideas, and build your plan together.

Understand the steps necessary to become a speaker and outline the pathway to achieve that goal
Learn what is necessary to be able to give the course, materials, equipment, and delivery
Decide where is the best place is for your first class, discuss an action plan, and make it happen
