Pam Stephenson OTD, OTR/L, BCP, FAOTA is an Associate Professor in the occupational therapy program at Mary Baldwin University, VA. She enjoys working with children and families and maintains a clinical practice in early intervention. Previously, she was a school-based practitioner, with a strong focus on teamwork and working with children with autism and multiple disabilities. Pam has served in leadership roles in state and national organizations throughout her career. She has presented at state and national conferences and published on a variety of topics including burnout, school-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and autism. She is keen to support occupational therapy practitioners in developing their professional reasoning skills and maintaining their enthusiasm for clinical practice. When not working, she enjoys hiking with her dog, knitting socks, running, and eating chocolate.
