Jessica Barreca, PT, DPT

Jessica Barreca, PT, DPT is the Community Site Coordinator in the Center for Interprofessional Education & Research, an adjunct faculty instructor in PT, and a PhD student in the Public and Social Policy program at Saint Louis University (SLU). She has 20 years of experience working with children in a variety of different settings including clinics, early interventions, and schools. In the Chicago Public Schools, Jessica worked as a lead PT and then as a special education administrator leading a team of OTs and PTs throughout the district. Her research interests center around interprofessional education and collaborative team practice, policies supporting access and utilization of rehabilitation services for children with disabilities, and trauma informed care.
