(POS11) Preparedness in School-Based SLPs to Provide Literacy Intervention to Students.on their Caseloads

This presentation will provide the results of a research study investigating how speech-language pathology (SLP) graduate school experiences affect preparedness in school-based SLPs abilities to provide literacy intervention for students on their caseloads. As part of this study presenters will provide current information regarding school-based. SLPs work with Literacy Intervention.

You will be able to:

Clearly articulate the role of the SLP as it pertains to Literacy intervention according to ASHA.
List the ways they participate in Literacy intervention with children on their caseloads.
Describe the training they have received regarding literacy intervention as well as identify any gaps in their training.
