(POS28) The Role of Speech-Language Pathologists in Trauma-Informed Practices
There is little to no literature currently about the role of speech-language pathologists in trauma-informed practices. With moments of dysregulation come information about individual wants and needs, often expressed through actions rather than words. As the communication professionals, SLPs can support other professionals in understanding the “why” of dysregulation.
