(POS17) SLP Use of Strategic and Interactive Writing Instruction (SIWI) in Therapy: A Case Study

This case study presents one SLP’s use of Strategic and Interactive Writing Instruction (SIWI) in therapy. The SLP incorporated the principles of SIWI (1. Strategic, 2. Interactive, and 3. Linguistic/Metalinguistic development) to target various student communication goals in the areas of semantics, morphosyntax, articulation, and pragmatics.

Identify practices for incorporation of various student goals within a SIWI framework.
