Jonathan Thompson, MD, RPVI, FACS is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He is also the program director for the vascular surgery fellowship. His academic interests include education (medical students, residents, and fellows) and developing novel ways to assess and train the next generation of surgeons. His clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease and splanchnic aneurysms, among others. He has 12 peer reviewed publications, 12 invited presentations, and 9 co-authored book chapters. He is active in several national vascular organizations.
