Garrett L. Walsh, MD, is a professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center where he has been on staff for over 30 years. He has interests in complex pulmonary and esophageal surgery, tumors of the mediastinum, airway and the chest wall. He has extensive experience with the resection of tumors that invade the spine including superior sulcus tumors, working closely with his neurosurgical and orthopedic colleagues. He is deeply committed to resident education.
