After attending Dartmouth College for my BA, I recieved my medical degree from Emory University Medical School in 2007. I then did my general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. I went on to complete my cardiothoracic surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic. I have been on faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Cardiac Surgery since 2017. I have an interest in aortic valve repair, minimally invasive surgery, aortic surgery and TAVR.
