Biography for Edgar Aranda-Michel, B.S., Department of Cardiac Surgery, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am currently a 6th year MD PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh - CMU MSTP program. My research is focused on cardiac biomechanics. For undergrad I majored in biological engineering at MIT. I will pursue the integrated cardiac training path with, currently, a focus on heart failure and mechanical circulatory support.
