Rebecca Marcus, MD, completed her general surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As part of her residency experience, she was a T32 Surgical Oncology Research fellow at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and conducted both translational and outcomes research on hepato-pancreatic-biliary malignancies. She is currently a Complex General Surgery Oncology fellow at the Saint John’s Cancer Institute (formerly John Wayne Cancer Institute). Her clinical interests include hepato-pancreatic-biliary and other complex GI malignancies. Her translational research interests include molecular drivers in primary GI malignancies, and her clinical research interests include prehabilitation and enhanced recovery pathways in the management of surgical oncology patients.
