Regina Matar, MD is a PGY-4 General Surgery Resident at NYU Langone Health. She recently completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Originally from the metro-Detroit area, Regina earned her BS in neuroscience from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Michigan State University - College of Human Medicine. Her primary clinical and research interests surround breast cancer care and outcomes, and ultimately plans to pursue a career in breast surgical oncology.
