Resident
Medical College of Wisconsin
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States
I am a General Surgery resident in my 2nd year of dedicated research time following 3 years of clinical residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I work primarily with Dr. Susan Tsai on investigating the utility of various biomarkers for prognosis and clinical decision-making in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. We are also exploring ways that precision medicine (molecular profiling, individual response to treatment) can guide optimal selection of neoadjuvant therapies for patients with pancreatic cancer. I am working with other members of the department on surgical outcomes related to sarcoma, breast, and liver cancers. My focus has expanded to Social Determinants of Health and developing practical clinical tools to reduce healthcare disparities for patients with cancer. I look forward to applying for a fellowship position in Complex General Surgical Oncology for the 2024 cycle.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
