Dr Krislyn Miller is Duke University Medical Center’s current Oncologic Breast Surgery Fellow. She is a native of California, although has lived most of her life in Hawaii. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, San Diego & the University of Hawaii. Before going to medical school, she practiced in rural Hawaii as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Pediatrics and Hospice & Palliative Care. With the determination and passion to continue her education, she pursued her ultimate dream of becoming a physician, in particular a surgeon. She graduated from medical school at A.T. Still University with much of her clinical training in Hawaii and she completed her general surgery residency at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.
Aside from her professional activities, Dr Miller loves spending time with her family and participating in outdoor activities in the mountains & at the beach.
