Dr. Onuma is currently a PGY4 general surgery resident at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He completed his medical school training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is interested in pursuing a career in academic surgical oncology. His research interests include tumor microenvironment and immunotherapy. He completed his NIH T32 postdoctoral research fellowship in Dr. Allan Tsung’s Lab where he studied the effects of exercise on the hepatic immune microenvironment.
