Dr. Christine A. Tran was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia for college and medical school, where she also remained for her General Surgery residency. She is currently in the first year of a two year postdoctoral research fellowship, which is funded by an NIH T32 training grant, conducting research in Surgical Oncology and tumor immunology under the mentorship of Dr. Craig L. Slingluff. Dr. Tran's professional interests focus on medical education, academia, and Surgical Oncology.
