Dr. Raja Narayan is a Stanford Surgery Chief Resident and the incoming Mass General Brigham/Dana Farber Surgical Oncology Fellow. Under the tutelage of Dr. William Jarnagin, he was a Resident Research Fellow with the HPB service at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2017-2019 where he studied genomic markers of liver tumor biology, targets for pancreatic cancer vaccines, and regional differences in biliary tree cancer arising in patients from around the world. Prior to this, he earned his BS in Chemical Biology from Berkeley and his MPH in Applied Biostatistics from Yale. Dr. Narayan has an interest in applying artificial intelligence methods to study tumor biology and postoperative recovery following HPB surgery.
