M.D., Ph.D. Resident Physician in General Surgery, University of Pittsburgh.
Interested in hepatopancreaticobiliary surgical oncology and transplant oncology.
During residency, my research concentrated on understanding the clinical and translational aspects of pancreatic cancer metastatic progression and tumor microenvironment. I am also working to understand and risk-stratify patients waiting for liver transplantation due to hepatocellular carcinoma. My long-term research interests involve investigating the complex biological behavior of primary and metastatic liver, bile duct, and pancreatic malignancies and developing novel treatment strategies for them, including therapies that combine transplant and surgical oncology.
