Brittany Sullivan is currently a surgical resident at the University of California - Irvine medical center. She attended medical school in her home state of Arizona at the University of Arizona COM-Phoenix. She is in her second dedicated research year working in the basic science lab with her PI, Dr. Senthil. Her research is focused on gastrointestinal peritoneal metastases, exosomes, and cancer biomarkers/liquid biopsies. She plans to apply for Complex Surgical Oncology Fellowship and hopes to specialize in hepatobiliary surgery. In addition to her surgical career aspirations, she enjoys life with her fiance, dog, and two cats. She enjoys hiking, running, and taking her dog to the dog beach in her current home in Long Beach, California.
