My clinical focus is in melanoma and regional therapies for cancer and is linked to my basic/translational science laboratory investigtions. Our lab has extensively studied the concepts of lymphocyte trafficking to tumor sites in the context of immunotherapy and now regional therapies. Intravital microscopy has become a useful tool for these preclinical investigations and currently has been extended clinically in several first in-human clinical trials. Additionally, the creation of murine platforms for the testing of clinical regional therapies has allowed for the testing of novel agents which are also in current clinical trials. The overall aim of my clinical and laboratory efforts are to improve the outcomes of existing therapies, develop novel therapies, and decrease the toxicities of current cancer treatments.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
