Dr. Grotz is a surgical oncologist with clinical and research expertise in gastric cancer and peritoneal metastasis at Mayo Clinic. He offers both minimally invasive robotic oncologic surgery as well as radical tumor extirpations. He is actively involved in clinical trials and translational research aiming to improve early diagnosis, and functional and survival outcomes after gastrectomy and cytoreduction and HIPEC. He serves on the Mesothelioma Research Foundation and Debbies Dream Foundation Scientific Advisory Board, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines subcomittee, and the American College of Surgeons Cancer Standards Committee.
