I am a breast surgical oncologist who specializes in the multidisciplinary treatment of breast cancer patients. I have specific expertise with oncoplastic operations, including breast conserving therapy and nipple-sparing mastectomy. I am committed to providing exceptional care to patients with breast problems using multimodality approach and cutting-edge surgical technique. In addition to my clinical work, I am an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology at The Ohio State University.
I maintain a busy clinical research program and serve as a member of Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology/American College of Surgeons Clinical Research Program, and Society of Surgical Oncology Breast Disease Site Work Group. My research interests include improving patient outcomes through clinical trials, molecular genomic testing for breast cancer, and outcomes research including optimizing pain control and opioid use after breast surgery. I am also interested in improving the education process of future surgeons and trainees in surgical oncology.
I have co-authored many articles in well-respected publications, including Annals of Surgical Oncology, Journal of the American College of Surgeons and Journal of Surgical Oncology.
