Participants will:
1. Understand disparity in outcome for patients from marginalized groups, including different ethnic, racial, social/economic, sexual orientation, geographic (rural vs urban) groups
2. Learn strategies to mitigate poor outcomes
3. Understand the need for a diverse workforce to combat these disparities, and develop strategies to improve recruitment and retention of diverse surgical faculty. CME
