Dr. Swinarska is currently a second-year general surgery resident at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her medical degree from the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Swinarska is interested in pursuing fellowship training in surgical oncology after completing her residency. She plans to incorporate clinical outcomes and health services research into her future career.
