Dr. Alicia Gingrich is from Colorado Springs, CO. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Johns Hopkins University. From there, she served 5 years on active duty in the United States Army before attending medical school at the University of Kansas. She is currently a chief resident at the University of California, Davis, where she also earned her Masters in Genomics. In 2022, she will begin her Surgical Oncology Fellowship at MD Anderson. Her research interests include soft tissue sarcoma, genomics and changes to transcriptomes following immune stimulation in the context of cancer therapy.
