Dr. Evans is currently the Ausman Family Foundation Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The Department of Surgery is comprised of nine clinical divisions, a research division and a surgical education division. Prior to joining the Medical College of Wisconsin in January 2009, he was the Hamill Foundation Distinguished Professor of Surgery at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Evans is a graduate of Bates College and Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Evans received his surgical training at Dartmouth Medical School before joining the faculty of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Evans has devoted his professional career to the research and treatment of pancreatic cancer and inherited endocrine syndromes. His recent publications and related information can be found at the Medical College of Wisconsin website: www.mcw.edu/surgery.
