Stephanie Downs-Canner is an Assistant Attending on the Breast Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed general surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During residency, she completed a National Institutes of Health T-32 post-doctoral fellowship in cancer biology with a focus on tumor immunology and oncolytic viral therapy. Following her residency, she completed a breast surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She currently has a research lab focused on immunology, specifically in triple negative breat cancer. She has been the recipient of the American College of Surgeons Faculty Research Fellowship and an NIH K12 award.
