Dr. Suzanne Coopey earned her baccalaureate degree, with distinction, at Pennsylvania State University; she graduated with honors from Ohio State University College of Medicine, and then entered clinical training in general surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Coopey completed an additional year of training in breast surgery in a combined fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston in 2011. Upon completion of her specialty fellowship, she was invited to join the surgical staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Division of Surgical Oncology, with a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School. In 2021 she joined Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh where she serves as the Director of the Wexford Division of Breast and the Co-Strategy and Growth Officer for the Breast Program.
