Geoffrey D. Young, MD, PhD, FACS, FSSO is the Chief of Head And Neck Surgery at Miami Cancer Institute and the Vice-chair of the Department of Surgery at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University. He is a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist with over 20 years of both clinical and research experience specializing in Molecular and Cellular Pathology, Immunology, Surgery, and Oncology. His research has focused on lung cancer, TGF-beta, melanoma, and head and neck cancers. He is an active committee member in several national societies including the American College of Surgeons, the American Thyroid Association, the American Head & Neck Society, and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
