Dr. Cord Sturgeon is Professor of Surgery and Chief of Endocrine Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He also serves as the Director of Surgery for Northwestern Memorial Hospital Surgical Services and is a Physician Director of Informatics for Northwestern Medicine. He joined the faculty at Northwestern University in 2004 following Endocrine Surgery Fellowship training at the University of California, San Francisco with Dr. Orlo Clark. He is a prominent member of multiple national and international professional medical and surgical organizations and has been involved in the production of multiple clinical practice guidelines. He is the current President-elect of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
