Introduction: Minimally invasive techniques are gaining popularity in surgeries for tumors at gastroesophageal junction. Here we describe a case of benign esophageal leiomyoma which was resected via trans gastric approach with robotic assistance.


Methods:


Results: We demonstrate the technique of trans gastric resection of gastroesophageal junction leiomyoma with minimally invasive robotic approach.


Conclusions: Robotic transgastric surgery is safe and effective minimally invasive approach for resection of  appropriate gastroesophageal junction tumors.
