Continuing Medical Education Information (CME)

Target Audience

This activity is intended for all surgeons and other healthcare professionals who are involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

Overall Education Objectives

  • Apply clinical recommendations from Annals of Surgical Oncology’s Landmark Series evidence-based guidelines to clinical practice
  • Evaluate real-life patient cases, diagnoses, and treatments in breast, colorectal/gastrointestinal, endocrine/neck disease, hepato-pancreato-biliary, melanoma, peritoneal surface malignancy, and sarcoma medicine
  • Implement clinical judgment skills to improve the quality of the diagnosis and treatment of patients with solid tumors
  • Differentiate between various rare and common clinical problems related to surgical oncologic medicine
  • Incorporate new treatment strategies for surgical oncology medicine

Designation


The Society of Surgical Oncology designates this live activity for a maximum of 18.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physicians who participate in this course virtually via live stream can earn a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
