Yuanfan Yang is a final year PhD candidate at Duke University Medical Center, working with his mentor Dr. Matthias Gromeier on the mechanisms of immune therapy resistance in glioblastoma. Prior to graduate school at Duke, Yuanfan graduated from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC), the best medical school in China and completed surgery residency training in PUMC hospital. His research at Duke is supported by a National Cancer Center trainee fellowship.
