I am a post CCT neurosurgeon working as a clinician at Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust and research fellows at Imperial College of London.
I have graduated in Medicine in Rome, and trained there as a Neurosurgeon. During my training I have attended Weill Cornell Medical College as a Skull Base Research Fellow. After completion of my training, I have moved to Aberdeen (Scotland, UK) for two years, and subsequently to London.
My surgical experience covers most of the common neurosurgical pathologies: primary intracranial and spinal tumours (intra and extra-axial), spinal degenerative disease, cranial and spinal traumas, hydrocephalus, cranial and spinal infections. My primary surgical interests concern skull base surgery, neuro-oncology, and vascular neurosurgery. I am also interested in brain surgical anatomy, neurophysiology of the grey and white matter, and in developing new technologies in neurosurgery. These are the topics most of research is focused on.
