Dr. Erin E Mulkearns-Hubert, PhD, is a Research Associate at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute and Instructor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Mulkearns-Hubert received a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington. Her doctoral thesis, which was performed at Fred Hutch, centered on the role of the adaptor protein Disabled-2 in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. During her postdoctoral fellowship and subsequent junior faculty position with Dr. Justin Lathia at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Mulkearns-Hubert’s research has focused on connexins in glioblastoma progression.
