Dr Agazzi is Professor and Vice Chairman in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of South Florida. He is the Chief of Neurosurgery at Tampa General Hospital and the Director of the USF fellowship in skull base and cerebrovascular surgery.
Dr Agazzi servers as president elect of the North American Skull Base Society.
Italian born and Swiss trained, he came to the USA in 2003 to complete his neurosurgical training with a 2 years fellowship in skull base surgery at the University of South Florida where he then stayed as faculty.
Dr Agazzi is married and has 3 children,
He speaks several languages including Italian, French, German and Spanish
He has completed many triathlons and is an Ironman 70.3 finisher
He enjoys, skiing, windsurfing, kiteboarding and playing piano (piano…not too well)
