Marisa Thierheimer earned her BS in chemical engineering at Oregon State University and is now pursuing an MD at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with an expected graduation in 2025. She is currently serving as a volunteer researcher on a brain tumor mortality trends project with the National Cancer Institue (NCI). She is passionate about leveraging engineering fundamentals to biomedical applications like pharmaceutical development and diagnostics within the field of oncology.
