Ali Nasser, A.B., is a research technician in Dr. Daniel Cahill’s lab in the Brain Tumor Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. Before his time in the Cahill lab, Ali completed his senior thesis under the supervision of Dr. Takao Hensch exploring the neuroanatomical changes due to early life stress while obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Global Health and Health Policy. In the Cahill Lab, Ali works closely with Dr. Julie Miller to explore treatments that target various potential metabolic vulnerabilities of IDH1 mutant gliomas and identify the genetic and molecular mechanisms driving their development and progression.
