I am a research technician for the Balyasnikova Laboratory in the Department of Neurological Surgery at The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. I obtained my undergraduate and master’s degree from Northern Michigan University where I served as the graduate research assistant for the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center. I am currently working on many projects in the Balyasnikova Laboratory, including leading the development of our bispecific T cell engager, bispecific NK cell engager, IL13RA2-directed CAR T cells, and identifying immunotherapeutic resistance mechanisms in glioblastoma. My long term goal is to become a physician-scientist and I am hoping to matriculate to medical school next fall.
