Xiao Liu, postdoc fellow in the Center for Cancer and Immunology Research and the Brain Tumor Institute at Children’s National Hospital (CNH). The topic of my postdoctoral study is to develop a genetically engineered mouse model for retinoblastoma and define the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor initiation and progression, and further identify novel molecular targets for early detection, treatment, and prevention of ocular tumors and associated metastatic disease.
