I am Dr. Mark Willy Llapitan Mondia. I am currently the pioneer Neuro-Oncology Fellow at the Philippine General Hospital, University of the Philippines Manila. I served as Assisant Chief Resident for Post-Graduate Training during my Adult Neurology Residency at the same institution. I took a Neuro-Oncology rotation at the Rhode Island Hospital Brown University during residency, which cemented my passion for the field. I graduated medical school with cum laude honors and 3rd in academic rank from the University of the Philippines, Manila Campus. I obtained a degree on Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of the Philipines, Diliman Campus and finsihed with magna cum laude honors. My publications mainly concentrate on the state of Neuro-oncologic practice in the Philippines as well as interets in Neuro-genetics, Headache medicine, and X-linked dystonia Parkinsonism.
