Neha Verma, M.D. is a hospitalist at Moffitt Cancer Center and assistant professor at USF Morsani School of Medicine. Neha graduated with honors in biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University and received her MD degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She was featured in a newspaper article for Ross University in the Chicago Sun Times. After receiving her medical degree, Neha completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago. Prior to joining Moffitt, Neha a hospitalist at Northwestern Memorial Feinberg Hospital and Prentice Womens and Oncology Hospital. She received the Nocturnist of the Year award at Northwestern Hospital. Her clinical interest is focused on improving immunotherapy agents by investigating the side effects. Neha has a strong interest in teaching and has been recognized for the Golden Apple teaching award for the residents at Tampa General Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center. She was previously employed as a hospitalist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She was named Nocturnist of the Year while at Northwestern. She is the recipient of many awards including the recent recognition for recipient of the Golden Apple teaching award amongst the residents. She has strong interests in research of treatment guidelines for immunotherapy and chemotherapy agents. She is attending a conference at the Society of Neurooncology in New Orleans for her upcoming poster and journal publication.
